What Calma is
Calma is a booking service. It connects guests with independent massage parlors and their therapists. The parlor you book with provides the massage and is responsible for it.
Professional massage only
Calma is for professional, non-sexual therapeutic and wellness massage. Any request for sexual services, harassment or unsafe behaviour towards a therapist ends the booking at once and closes your account.
Bookings, prices and payment
- A booking is a request until the parlor confirms it.
- Prices are set by each parlor and shown before you book. Home visits can carry a visit fee.
- You pay the parlor at the visit. Calma takes no payment in the app.
- You can cancel in the app until 2 hours before the start. After that, call the parlor.
Health
Tell your therapist about injuries, pregnancy, skin conditions or medical conditions before the massage. Massage is not a substitute for medical treatment.
Ratings and reviews
After a completed massage you can rate your therapist. Reviews must be honest and about your own visit. Parlors and managers may reply, and may hide reviews that are abusive, fake or contain personal data.
